India win by 151 runs and they deserved to win after completely out playing a plucky England on the last day. Excellent match. Bring on the next test.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

Agree Lazza. Best Test in ages.

Shami and Bumrah just about stole the match from England's grasp - with their batting ! :D

Then, with Ishant and Siraj, bowled incredibly well to get the victory.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

I was following it on cricinfo and thought with about 10 overs to go they were safe with Buttler still in then 2 overs later all over.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

Gobsmacking brain fade from England. (They lost the plot over Bumrah.)

But it makes for exciting cricket!!

And when you can't even bat out 60 overs in good batting conditions... Sheesh...

Ishant Sharma's hat-trick ball will have to wait, 'cos that was the last ball of the over.
Curran got a king pair.

K wrote:Why so many no balls from Bumrah?

It's not deliberate, is it??
It worked a treat for Bumrah and co to provoke England (England players lost their minds on the final day)... but if you're deliberately bowling no balls, that's crossed the line.

The umps in this match are among the best in the business. But they should have told Bumrah that if he's doing it deliberately, they'll force him out of the attack.

It brings back memories of Ambrose's deliberate no balls in that WACA Test, when Oz were certain to lose. They "didn't work", i.e. they just leaked runs without hitting the batsmen, but it was shameful.

?

A no ball, even from the quickest of bowlers, doesn't make a body hit inevitable.

Third Test starts tonight, our time.

The tourists took a 1-0 lead in the five-game series after claiming a 151-run win at the recent Lord's Test, earning bragging rights following an extended war of words in the middle."
