WI just passed their first-innings total with four wickets down.

History has been made: Jermaine Blackwood came in as concussion substitute for Darren Bravo. The difference is that Smith completed his first innings and Marnus came in for the second innings. Blackwood is effectively continuing Bravo's innings!

And Blackwood has already slapped 17 runs, including a 6, and been given a life by the keeper. I haven't seen how difficult the chance was, but these days I'm not surprised when an international keeper puts down a sitter. The standard of wicketkeeping in the world today is abysmal, as I said during the ODI WC. I reckon it's connected to the abysmal batting standards in world cricket, because selectors feel they need to strengthen the batting so they cannot select someone based only on keeping skill.

Update:

Blackwood made 38 (72), after Bravo made 23 (41), retired hurt, so that's a total of 61 (113) by "Brawood".

Update 2:

WIndies 210 all out. India won by 257 runs.
