I do love me some scandal....
Nah no inside info on Owies, just reading between the lines why Carlton isn’t renewing his contract and other clubs aren’t showing any interest. I have all the info on Stevo though, had to deal with him personally. Carlton says it’s because their forward line will look different next year and they don’t see a need for Owies — but yeah, read between the lines.

I wonder if the club has anyone else in mind other than Houston, Lord, Kennedy. I get the feeling they’re holding their cards close to their chest and might spring a surprise. Apparently Stringer had another medical?!

I only remember Jack Hayes for his debut performance against us in R1 2022, which was Fly's first match as coach.

Have no idea if he's any good or not.

Had a few injuries. We could rotate him with Krueger.

Jack Hayes. Played 2 games this year and got a Brownlow vote… Probably a bigger version of Kreuger - likely to play a lot of VFL. Needs to get and stay healthy.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

According to Theo Doropoulos on MMM, Hayes is a lock for Collingwood. Backup for Checkers

Hayes made an Instant impact when he debuted for the Saints after being a pre season pick back in 2021. He’s a strong mark and good mover. He’s had a number of significant injuries, mainly impact related but if he can prove the injuries are behind him, I can understand their interest. At least we continue to be on the lookout.

^Dont mind a depth KPP, but interesting move as we already have Krueger and Johnson. I guess this could somewhat put a line thru Lord too.

And @5:11pm are you saying Stringer did a medical at Collingwood yesterday??

But it was already clear in September that Kreuger was on thin ice.

Dean, Kreuger and McInnes reported as untradeable, i.e. they've not been delisted but were told by the Pies that they're on hold till the end of trade period. As media say, no club will trade for them, 'cos they know they might get them free as delisted players.
Since then, some media have reported the Pies are considering trying to turn McInnes into a defender.
