Thanks Morrigu,Morrigu wrote:^Oh very sorry - always hard to lose a member of the family
That's a fair innings and a gentle peaceful way to leave the earth.
Vale Max
It really was gentle and peaceful, which helps a lot when your saying goodbye,
My vet is fantastic, she didn't even want to charge me, (I paid her anyway) she really loves them all xxxx
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

If only humans were afforded such a peaceful send off. I live in hope.
Goodbye my Boy, you had a great life, spoilt rotten, loved til the end, and I miss you already,
RIP Max,
And yes, you were a GOOD Dog! Xxx

Yeah, when I posted about him on Saturday, I had a feeling it would be sooner rather than later, he was throwing up Saturday night, and slept all Sunday, and since he supermanned off the couch and dislocated his back leg, he has been getting weaker and weaker in the back legs. His eyesight suddenly seemed to get worse, and he was falling in his food bowl, and walking into things. I rang up Monday and booked the vet, so I had two full days to enjoy him, and spoil him, (he loves smoked salmon, he ate three packets!). I keep waiting for him to bark because he wants up or down the stairs, or off the couch! Only 1 Jim beam so far! I sat in the bath and watched dvds all afternoon! Molly his daughter is 9, can't tell you how happy I am to have her! Cheers xxxstui magpie wrote:You knew it was coming, well done doing the right thing even though it would have been bloody hard.think positive wrote:This morning I played with my 16 years 4 month old Toy Poodle, Max, fed him a ton of smoked salmon and chocolate, told him I loved him, doped him up, and the vet came to the house and let him go gently on his way.

I admire your level of emotional connection with your pets, even if I can't empathise.
take it easy and don't hit the honey too hard.

Oops, sorry guys - I posted that in the wrong thread...... My comment was meant for the thread about banning players from owning dogs.stui magpie wrote:Worry about the ones who own cats. Or delist them - now.Bucks5 wrote:I follow a lot of our better players on Instagram and they all seem to own dogs..... We are doomed.
