What a Test debut Robinson is having. Just took his 7th. wicket (Wagner for 10) to add to his 42 with the bat.

NZ 3/81. Latham 32*, Robinson 3/10.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Very well, Donny. He blunted the bowling with his masterful 19-ball 1. His series average will be 7 after this Test.

Sadly, though, there were more runs from his bowling than his batting, yesterday.

Robinson's dream debut has soured, somewhat.

He's been suspended from all International cricket, pending an investigation into tweets he posted, some 9 years ago.

Yeah, he's got to be punished for that. Unacceptable.

Baum:

No excuse or alibi for bigotry: Timeout for twit tweets is right for the times

https://www.theage.com.au/sport/cricket ... 57z57.html

"But I do know that he has grown up in a time when there is no excuse or alibi for bigotry. Cognisance of its harm must have been in his schooling. It would have been there in his cricket pathway. It’s codified in sport these days, for reference and understanding, along with warnings about social media.
...

What we can also divine is that there were some incorrigible and counteractive forces in the way Robinson’s understanding of the world was shaped, too, and that some of them were on the cricket field. It’s deep rooted. That’s the lesson Robinson had to teach at the same time he was learning one."
