The Victoria Football League is pleased to announce the following players have been selected in the 2008 State Squad, for the State League match against the SANFL at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 31st May.

The final list of 24 players will train at TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne on Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th May, commencing at 6.00pm.

dale you'll let me know, do they pick best players for certain positions when they pick from the clubs? Or do they just pick the players who have been playing the best footy at the clubs?

Just I think Frosty is probably unlucky not to get a look in as a player from the Collingwood side.

Each club nominates players they think should be considered for final selection.

Fair call, wonder when this list was put in, since the Willy game Frosty has been in the best 2 or 3 at worse, every week.
