Sad news today with the news of Hughie who passed away. Hughie was a guest of the cheersquad at a game this year and loved the passion of the Black and Whte army i cant recall which game it was now but the Pies won and Hughie loved it.
New Zealand born Hughie moved to Australia to get better quality care for his HIV illness he had lived most of his adult life with HIV, Had a great sense of humour and was just a fun guy to be with and talk to, Those who had the oppertunity to get to know Hughie such as myself had become better for it..we'll miss ya mate take care and rest in peace champ you've deserved it!!
