Plenty of strikers score from corners - not so many by taking the opposition's corner the length of the field on a solo run.

One of the greatest players in AC Milan's storied history is taking on the task of trying to lead Liberia. The only African player to be named FIFA's world player of the year is taking on something more difficult than trying to be the biggest star in a team with Roberto Baggio wearing the number 10.

The peak of his career was before I really started following the sport properly, but he seems to have been at his best when he played for AS Monaco, PSG and AC Milan. He even had a short stint at Chelsea (on loan) and at Manchester City in the early 2000s.
His goalscoring stats seem to suggest he may have been a little overrated, but I'm sure there were good reasons as to why he was rated very highly by supporters.
Interesting to read that he will become the new leader of Liberia.
