He's in scintilating form in T20s, having just broken his own T20 record, with 172 from 76 balls, against Zimbabwe.
In the previous match, he hit 68 n.0. from 33 balls with 6 sixes.
Yes, I do realise Tests are a very different animal from T20s but that didn't stop Warner.
Glenn Maxwell or Travis Head will, most likely, fill Smith's spot, in Tests - at least till Smith and Warner return.
