Getting real sick of this shit. Young men blowing off steam, acting like ****, no one hurt, one spurt offended and this is the result? Our society has truly lost its way.

"Studs-up" Toby deserves all he gets.

If what is being reported is correct, Toby is not being fined for doing something, but for not doing something.
His fine is for being part of the GWS leadership group and not stopping the "inappropriate" behaviour from continuing. Others are reportedly being fined for the same reason.
All from an anonymous call to GWS.

Although I dont agree with the fines and whats happened here, I am enjoying the smart arsed GWS social team being shut up. They've been fairly quiet since losing to Sydney haven't they?
Whoever gets them in round 1 should have a banner that reads:
Its the start to a new year,
Your last finals series? What a pitty!
Who we wont see today?
6 players, blow up dolls, or acts of P Diddy.

I don't know why we needed 2 threads on this. As I posted in the first one, this is ridiculous over reach by the AFL. Big brother type bullshit.
Then the thought crossed my mind, I hope Perryman wasn't caught up in this.

Actually I did post this first...pipped Presti by 12mins. Although my title could have been a bit clearer.
And yeah, thank goodness Perryman wasn't involved...

I read in the Age that Connor Idun is one of the players facing sanction because he went dressed as Django from the Tarantino movie Django unchained.
Idun has African parentage, so you have a black man dressing up as a black man and he apparently got permission from the other players of colour before doing it.
Django unchained is a great (if very violent) movie and Django went from slave to Boss and seriously kicked arse, so it's hardly a blaksploitation issue. If he gets fined or suspended or any sanction for that, the AFL needs to get their hand off it. That would be ridiculous.

This has all increased dramatically since Laura Kane took over from that weak excuse for a man, Andrew Dillon.
